I worked with an Apple tech supervisor, and followed his directions for restoring. We agreed on a clean install of Sierra 10.12.6, allegedly saving my data for later inclusion. Migrating data was not discussed, as so much of my post install of System update went astray. Supervisor and I spend near a month cleaning it up. As I do not have an in depth education about the workings of my MacBook Pro and software, I did not have a clue about where to find what. Finding My Pages/Numbers templates, was just the next step in locating what still is not available to me, but is probably somewhere on the computer or on Time Machine.

The original Apple update to Sierra 10.12.6 appeared/appears to have over-ridden my filing convention and left me wondering whether much of my data was lost or just in places where I did not know how to look.

Fortunately I am a tenacious, persistent cuss who does not easily give up, and finds this just another in life's adventures.

Installing Adobe Reader is a two-step process. First you download the installation package, and then you install Adobe Reader from that package file.

Before you install, make sure that your system meets the minimum system requirements.

Note:

Select your operating system, a language, and the version of Reader that you want to install. Then click Download now.

When asked whether to open or save the .dmg file, select Save File, and then click OK.

Important: If you do not see this dialog box, another window could be blocking it. Try moving any other windows out of the way.
