Solved: I've got a question, my Origin won't download. (Not the games but actual Origin) After installing it, it will say 'Whoops - the installer. Invalid platform means it's not compatable with your operating system. If you have 2 versions of the game on your steam account (steam sometimes give you 2 versions if there is a PC/Windows and a Mac version) then try installing the other version. 1 will be the PC/Windows version that will not install on Mac, the other will be the Mac version that wont install on PC/WIndows.

Check the Steam download region under Settings-Downloads. It should match your location. Stop the download, uninstall, and reinstall the game (clear manifest caches). Exit Steam, delete the two folders appcache and depotcache in your Steam install folder. Try to set your Steam download region to some other location far away. This means that the games may work on some Windows 10 systems, however not on all. For a list of games that are compatible with Windows 10, please click here! To quickly search this list, press CTRL and F on your computer keyboard at the same time and type in the game name you're looking for to quickly see if your game is on the list. The Steam application or Steam game has been mistakenly identified as a virus or 'trojan' by certain software as a result of the development of potentially-malicious programs which use the same filenames as valid Steam files (this is a very common practice amongst malicious software writers - many viruses already masquerade as valid operating system files). After download and installation, you’ll be able to launch the game client. However, if you don’t have a beta key, you won’t be able to log in. The client will simply say it’s unable to. One user recommends adding a free game like Dota 2 or Team Fortress 2 to your queue if you don't own a second game on your account. The other, more commonly-suggested fix is to swap your Steam Region.
